Gràcia was born in 1626 when the novitiate of the Discalced Carmelites was established in the Convent of Our Lady of Gràcia, popularly known as Els Josepets because the dedication of the order was to San José, and the young novices.
This walk starts at “Els Jardinets de Gràcia” and goes to the Plaça Lesseps, following the main street, but once in a while we deviate to discover the flavor of the town of today’s Barcelona neighborhood.
